  • Lady Robinson Beach — good for swimming and eating out. There are four tidal pools, a foreshore reserve, a walking path and a bike track.
  • Nielsen Park — a perfect picnic spot surrounded by historic landmarks. Facilities include an enclosed harbour pool, picnic tables, a beach café and a restaurant. Obviously, the place is perfect for swimming, not just munching.
