Meet Chef Ran Kimelfeld
“I’m focusing on the food I grew up on: Israeli food with North African flavours."
Chef Ran Kimelfeld defines his style as fresh, simple, bistro style food influenced by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours and ingredients - lots of spices, herbs, fish and seafood.
Chef Kimelfeld focuses on the quality of his ingredients, sourcing the very best from Australian produce. He believes that no cooking can cover up bad produce and very little is needed when the produce is good.
Tayim blends Middle Eastern flavours with fresh Australian produce to bring together the very best of both worlds.
